Residential Oud-Zuid
We created a cohesive design for the property, which included everything from material finishes to color schemes, furniture pieces, and lighting. While respecting the charm of the architecture, a contemporary touch was added to the overall look and feel of the house. We wanted to preserve some elements of the original architecture, updating them to feel fresh and modern. A bespoke secret bar was integrated into an existing historical niche.
The design process was centered around the concept of timelessness and history, as evidenced by richly painted paneling flanking the period marble fireplace. We paid attention to details to create a design that honored the past while feeling relevant and contemporary.
To this beautiful base, we added a mix of furniture of varying styles and time periods, including a vintage mid-century rosewood sideboard and Scandinavian contemporary furniture. Despite the diversity of styles and eras, the space feels thoughtfully curated and truly unique.
